The Fraunhofer Institute will demo an innovative iPoint 3D system at CeBIT from March 3. The system allows you to communicate with a 3-D LCD display through simple gestures, without touching it and without 3-D glasses. The heart of iPoint 3D is a recognition device that can be suspended from the ceiling where its two built-in off-the-shelf video cameras detect the hands and fingers in real time and transmit the information to a computer.
