The three main sections of MioGate are home/dashboard, profile and ports we will now discuss how these 3 main sections works.

Dashboard – Your dashboard is not only your home for Miogate, but also your homepage online. Your dashboard is a collection of Miogate updates information, RSS feeds, Podcasts, Videos, or one of thousands of gadgets. These little boxes are called Portlets. The idea is that you can display exactly what you want to see, and I hide the rest of the stuff. However, we wanted to give you more control, so we allow to you customizes exactly how you want your Dashboard to look. And don’t you worry about the customization of your MioGate because we will teach you and you may learn how to customize style and layout of your page.

Profile – your profile, like your home/dashboard, is a collection of Miogate updates information, RSS feeds, Podcasts, Videos, or any number of gadgets. You are also able to embed your Profile in another website or social community, this way you can update all your websites from one location. The customized layout is only visible when embedded in another website.

Ports – MioGate Ports allow members to create an unlimited number of web pages to display specific information, collaborate with a group, or gather information for an event. Once you are finished, you are able to take your port and plug it in to any other website or social community seamlessly. The benefits of the ports: allow you to have one place for all of your information. You can have one photo gallery that embeds in any website. Or you may display information and allow viewers to collaborate for a given event. And you can resize and remove each column to fit your site exactly. The purpose of Ports is to allow you embed information and tools into a site seamlessly, with no header and customized styles and colors.
